Blooming Hearts Italian Pacemaker - LIMIT ONE -

First Introductory Blooming Hearts Hybridized Dahlia.

I have grown this variety for 5 years now. It is lush, heavy producer, with long straight stems. Plant height is approximately ~ 3.5 ft tall.

This dahlia was named after one of the Cardiothoracic Surgeons I work with who inspired me to pursue my dream of becoming a dahlia farmer/hybridizer. Sometimes during heart surgery, the heart needs a stimulus to start beating again. Instead of using a traditional temporary pacing wire, he will sometimes use a finger to tap on the heart and since he's Italian, he calls it "The Italian Pacemaker."
